Answers about Aupply, the AI job application agent for LinkedIn: what it does, how it matches jobs, how it applies, when it asks you, what it stores, and what it costs.
Product
What is Aupply?
Aupply is an AI-powered Chrome extension that finds LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs that fit your resume and applies to them for you. It runs in your own signed-in Chrome and asks you only for personal facts it does not have.
Is Aupply an AI job application agent?
Yes. Aupply searches for jobs, reads each job description with AI, decides which jobs fit your resume, fills in the application form and submits it. A person stays in the loop: it asks you for personal facts instead of guessing them.
How do I install Aupply?
Sign up on aupply.com, download the extension from the Extension page and load it in desktop Chrome, then approve the pairing on the website to connect it to your account. It is not on the Chrome Web Store.
Where does Aupply run?
In your own desktop Chrome, in one background tab, while you work in other tabs. You stay signed in to LinkedIn as yourself. Aupply's server decides what to do next and the extension carries it out. There is no remote browser.
Does Aupply work on other job sites?
No. Aupply applies to LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs only. Strong matches that are not Easy Apply are saved for you to apply to by hand.
Does Aupply work in other browsers?
Not today. Aupply is a desktop Chrome extension.
Is this allowed by LinkedIn?
LinkedIn's User Agreement restricts automated tools, so using Aupply is a choice about your own account. Aupply runs in your own browser, at a person's pace with breaks, and caps volume at 30 to 40 applications a day. If LinkedIn signs you out, shows a check or limits your account, Aupply stops the run. It cannot promise how LinkedIn treats any account.
Matching
How does Aupply match jobs to my resume?
It first drops jobs that clearly do not fit your limits, such as places, technology stack, years or pay. Then an AI reads each remaining job description and scores how well the work fits your resume and preferences. Jobs at or above your minimum fit are applied to.
Is it keyword matching?
No. Matching is about the work: the skills and experience on your resume against what the job asks for, read in context rather than counted as keywords.
How many job descriptions does Aupply read?
Up to 60 full job descriptions each time it builds your apply queue.
Which jobs does Aupply skip?
Jobs in places you ruled out, jobs that name a technology stack you excluded, jobs that ask for more years than you have or a seniority far above yours, jobs where sponsorship is not offered and you need it, jobs for citizens or residents only where you are not one, jobs with stated pay below your minimum in the same currency, and postings that send you to an outside application site. Jobs you already applied to are skipped too.
How recent are the jobs?
You choose: the last hour, the last 24 hours or the last week. Aupply keeps only Easy Apply jobs posted in that window.
Can I exclude companies?
Not yet. Excluding companies is not supported today. You can rule out places and technology stacks.
Can I filter by employment type?
Not yet. Employment type filters are not supported today.
What happens if the AI is not available?
With no AI available, Aupply uses a deterministic score instead.
Applying
How many jobs does Aupply apply to a day?
30 to 40 applications a day at most, a different number each day, at a person's pace with breaks.
What does Aupply do on an Easy Apply form?
It opens each queued job, clicks Easy Apply, fills in every page of the form, goes through Next and Review, and submits once.
Which resume does Aupply use?
The resume LinkedIn already has on file. Aupply uploads your Aupply resume only when LinkedIn requires one.
What happens when an application fails?
A job that fails is retried later in the run. A job that cannot continue is stopped and recorded. If LinkedIn signs you out, shows a check or limits your account, the run stops.
How do I see what Aupply applied to?
Every application, skip and failure is recorded on your dashboard, with the resume used. Aupply also checks LinkedIn's own applied-jobs count to confirm submissions.
What if my LinkedIn is not in English?
The run pauses and tells you what to change. Aupply reads English labels on LinkedIn today.
Does Aupply tick consent boxes?
It accepts consent that comes with an application, such as a privacy notice or data processing. It never ticks marketing, SMS or follow-company boxes.
Questions and answers
What does Aupply ask me?
Personal facts it does not have, such as your notice period, pay, work authorization or visa sponsorship. The question appears in the side panel of the extension.
Does the run stop while Aupply waits for my answer?
No. The job waits and the run continues with other jobs. When you answer, every job waiting on that question continues.
Will Aupply ask the same question twice?
No. Your answer is saved and reused for every later application, so each question is asked once.
Does the AI make up my personal facts?
No. Personal facts such as notice period, pay, work authorization and visa sponsorship are never generated by AI. They come from you. The AI answers only the remaining questions, using your resume.
Can I check the answers the AI gave?
Yes. The side panel's Review shows the answers the AI gave, and you can correct them.
How does Aupply handle jobs in other countries?
Work rights, sponsorship, relocation and pay are per country. A question about another country is answered from that country's settings, or asked, and never copied from your home country.
Privacy and security
Does Aupply see my LinkedIn password?
No. Your LinkedIn password never reaches Aupply. Aupply works inside your own Chrome, signed in as you.
What does Aupply store?
Your account email, profile, resume files and their text, preferences, saved answers, every application with its questions and answers, and the job postings the extension read. It does not store your LinkedIn password or LinkedIn cookies.
What does the AI see?
To produce answers and scores, the AI reads your resume text, job descriptions and form questions. Aupply does not train models on user data.
Can I disconnect the extension?
Yes. Disconnect it from the Extension page at any time. That revokes it at once.
How do I delete my data?
Email support@aupply.com. Self-serve account deletion does not exist yet.
Who can see my resume?
Resumes from accounts are also kept in Aupply's talent pool, which only Aupply's admins can search. A resume is never shown to recruiters unless the person opts in.
How long does Aupply keep data?
AI request logs are kept for 35 days and job description text for 45 days.
Pricing and limits
What are Aupply's limits?
LinkedIn Easy Apply jobs only, 30 to 40 applications a day at most, desktop Chrome only, and LinkedIn in English.
Does Aupply publish success rates?
