How Aupply works
Aupply, the AI job application agent for LinkedIn, works in seven steps: you set preferences and upload a resume, then it finds recent Easy Apply jobs, reads each job description, matches it to your resume, applies in a background tab of your own Chrome, and asks you only when it needs a fact only you know.
The workflow
- 01
Set your preferences
Choose the job titles to search, the country you live in and up to five countries you apply in, your expected and lowest pay, where you will work, and how recent jobs must be.
- 02
Upload your resume
Setup fills your profile from the resume, then asks about the gaps. You check every value.
- 03
Find recent jobs
Aupply searches LinkedIn for your titles in each country you apply in and keeps Easy Apply jobs from your time window, skipping jobs you already applied to.
- 04
Read each job description
It reads up to 60 full job descriptions each time it builds your queue.
- 05
Match
Jobs that clearly do not fit are dropped. An AI scores the rest against your resume. Jobs at or above your minimum fit join the apply queue.
- 06
Apply
Aupply opens each queued job, fills in the Easy Apply form page by page, and submits once.
- 07
Ask only when needed
When a form asks for a personal fact Aupply does not have, it asks you in the side panel, then remembers the answer.
The agent loop
For every job it considers, Aupply runs the same loop. The server decides what happens next, and the extension carries it out.
- Your configuration: resume, titles, countries and preferences.
- Search LinkedIn for your titles in the countries you apply in.
- Read the job description of each Easy Apply job found.
- Match and filter: drop jobs that clearly do not fit, then score the rest against your resume.
- Decide: jobs at or above your minimum fit join the queue, the rest are skipped.
- Open a queued job and read its Easy Apply form.
- Answer each question from rules over your profile, then your saved answers, then AI.
- If a personal fact is missing, ask you in the side panel. The job waits and the run goes on with other jobs. Your answer is saved.
- Submit once and record the result. Steps 6 to 9 repeat for each job in the queue.
Where it runs
- A Chrome extension with a side panel, in desktop Chrome, paired to your Aupply account.
- One background tab in your own Chrome, signed in to LinkedIn as you, while you work in other tabs.
- Aupply's server decides what to do next and the extension carries it out. There is no remote browser.
- Your LinkedIn password never reaches Aupply.
For what Chrome and Aupply store and where, see Security at Aupply and the privacy policy.
What it records
Every application, skip and failure is recorded on your dashboard, with the resume used. Aupply also checks LinkedIn's own applied-jobs count to confirm that a submission went through. A job that fails is retried later in the run. A job that cannot continue is stopped and recorded.
Daily limits
Aupply applies to 30 to 40 jobs a day at most, a different number each day, at a person's pace with breaks. If LinkedIn signs you out, shows a check or limits your account, the run stops. LinkedIn in a language other than English pauses the run with instructions.
